You can make a domestic bank transfer (we are part of the UK's Faster Payments network) of up to £25,000 per transaction in your app/ online banking, and an international bank transfer of up to £10,000 per transaction. In a calendar day, you can send payments up to £25,000 in your app/online banking, of which a maximum of £10,000 can be international.
If you need to send more than that, we can raise your daily payment limit. Please get in contact with customer services and provide the following information:
- The name of the payee
- The payment amount
- The date you want to make the payment
- The reason for the payment
You will also need to ensure that the payee is set-up on your account and that you have sufficient funds available to cover the payment. In order for your limit to be raised on the same working day, you will need to do this before 3pm. Any requests received after this time will be processed the following working day.
Please note that in some circumstances you may be asked to provide some further information and/or evidence regarding your payment. For example, we might ask you for more information if you are making a property purchase (e.g. Completion Statement, Lease Agreement Stock).
