Incoming and outgoing Faster Payments and BACS payments (e.g. direct debits and direct credits) will be automatically redirected to your new account. Each time a payment is redirected, an automatic message is sent to the sender advising them of your new account details so they can update their records. Some organisations may contact you directly to confirm your details have changed. Please note card refunds and international payments will not redirect.
Payments to your old closed account will be redirected to your new Starling account for 3 years.
